Scenario 1: Shrimp
Challenges: Slow-frozen shrimp with high water content often suffer from blackened heads, mushy texture, and significant juice loss. By rapidly passing through the ice crystal zone (10–15 minutes), fine ice crystals form without rupturing the cell walls. Benefits: IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) prevents sticking, with juice loss <5% after thawing, achieving export-grade quality.
Scenario 2: Fish Fillets
Challenge: The tender, delicate texture of fish fillets makes them prone to flattening and deformation during traditional freezing, resulting in brittleness upon thawing. We recommend using a steel belt conveyor for even transport, combined with vertical high-speed airflow for deep freezing. The STC series evaporative condensers are built with a practical design that combines proven cooling principles with efficient water and air flow. These units are popular in many industrial settings because they save both energy and water while keeping operating costs low.
How it works:
Refrigerant flows through the coil. Cooling water moves downward from the top, while natural air rises from the bottom. The reverse flow takes heat away from the refrigerant into the air.
Water that runs over the coil then passes through a packing layer, gets cooled, and finally collects in the water pan below. A water collector at the top catches small water droplets, which helps reduce water loss.
