The Vertical Cold Plate Freezer is designed for fast freezing of seafood, meat, poultry, and other frozen food products. It is commonly used in seafood processing factories, fishing vessels, cold storage plants, and frozen food production lines.
The machine uses direct contact freezing technology. Products are placed between aluminum freezing plates, allowing cold temperatures to transfer quickly and evenly. Compared with traditional air freezing methods, this system freezes products faster and helps maintain the original texture, moisture, and appearance of the food.
The equipment structure is made of food-grade stainless steel, which is durable, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean. The hydraulic lifting system keeps the freezing plates tightly connected to the products during operation, improving freezing efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
This vertical plate freezer is suitable for freezing shrimp blocks, fish fillets, squid, shellfish, meat blocks, and prepared frozen foods. Different sizes and capacities can also be customized according to production requirements.

The machine is widely used for:
Shrimp freezing
Fish fillet freezing
Seafood block freezing
Meat and poultry freezing
Frozen prepared food processing
Marine fishing and onboard freezing
Cold storage processing plants
Before starting the machine, check whether the power supply, refrigeration system, and hydraulic system are operating normally. Clean the freezing plates and inner chamber to ensure food hygiene.
It is recommended to pre-cool the machine before loading products so the freezer can reach the required temperature more quickly.
Place shrimp, fish, or meat products evenly into trays or molds. Keep product thickness as consistent as possible to improve freezing results.
Insert the trays between the freezing plates carefully and close the freezer door securely. Start the hydraulic system so the plates press evenly against the products.
Set the required freezing temperature according to the product type. The machine usually operates at low temperatures between -35°C and -40°C.
Freezing time depends on product size and thickness. Smaller seafood products generally freeze faster, while thicker meat blocks may require a longer freezing cycle.
During operation, monitor the control system to ensure stable temperature and hydraulic pressure.
After freezing is completed, release the hydraulic pressure and open the machine carefully.
Remove the frozen products and transfer them to cold storage immediately to maintain product quality and temperature stability.
Clean the machine after daily production to remove ice and food residue. Stainless steel surfaces should be wiped dry after cleaning.
Regularly inspect:
Hydraulic oil level
Refrigeration pipelines
Electrical connections
Door sealing condition
Routine maintenance helps extend machine service life and maintain stable freezing performance.
